Welcome and Thank you for stopping by Lovin’ Life on Less. My name is Marsha and I am the one behind the scenes at LLoL. I started blogging in December of 2009 and I quickly learned that I did not have a clue about what I was doing but I think that was the fun part for me. I love to learn and make my brain sweat

Why did I start blogging you ask? Well, I started blogging because I suddenly was faced with a challenge…a very basic but real challenge that lots of us are facing now a days… how to survive… better yet with a positive spin…how to provide a quality life for my family with a WHOLE LOT LESS MONEY. I have the pleasure of being a Furloughed California State Employee which means my livelihood feels like it is always hanging by a thread depending on… the cosmos… easier to understand than politics Back to the point, my new financial situation almost felt like an impossible feat. Lovin’ Life on Less is my positive spin on the situation and I have succeeded in making lemonade.

Lovin’ Life on Less is more like my journal or my tool to help me during my growing pains towards a FRUGAL lifestyle. My blog started out more in the direction of a coupon and deals blog but I started to realize that I don’t have the time to post all day and post all the deals.If you decide to be a part of the LLoL community, I can promise you that I will not overwhelm your email or rss feed with postings. I post maybe 3 or 4 times a day depending on what my day looks like.  The things that I choose to post really reflect things that I need or find useful for myself that I think will be useful for others too.

Lovin’ Life on Less is my labor of love and is really about building a community of people who may be on a similar boat and who choose to be hopeful and proactive to have a sense of control despite the financial challenges.
