A few weeks ago I was contacted by AttentionUSA on behalf of Avon to see if I would be interested in doing a review for Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss…Sure!!! Goodness gracious, I was thrilled to try out lip gloss. I have been a make up freak since I was a little girl. I remember my mom would get disappointed because I did not want dolls or tea sets, I wanted a make up set or better yet, my mom’s makeup bag.

I needed a little powder to even out the skin tone and I looked at myself in the mirror and said, “oooh, let me just add a little shadow”. Then I looked at myself again and thought a little mascara would just be perfect and just like that, I was on my way to recognizing my ole self… pre-baby. I remembered what it is like to feel like a girl and just feel pretty. I was quite pleased because that lil’ ole lip gloss inspired me to be me again and devote those few extra steps for myself in the morning to feel pretty. I am going onto 3 weeks now devoting those few extra minutes in the morning for myself.
You wanna hear the best part? Of course I was running late so I yelled out to my son, “let’s go” and he walked into the bathroom and looked at me and said, “oh mami you are so pretty”. My heart melted… Gosh what a lil’ ole tube of lip gloss will do for a girl Is it a cure all…nope… but it sure does make you feel pretty.

hello there – i just introduced myself on your wall on facebook too but the comment is the same – i love your layout and the style of your writing – its refreshing and personable
anyways, i checked out the glosswear page and i would say i'm torn between island glow and mirage. i actually used to sell (a LONG time ago and for only about 3 months both avon and mark products) so i'm aware of their quality – but then…i became a firefighter and pretty lip gloss went out the window. i still do firefighting but now i try to get pretty every so often!
as for sharing – i doubt my guys at the station would wear it, but maybe i can con their wives into liking me more if i give them makeup?
